Movement joint profiles
Control joints that absorb drying shrinkage, thermal movement and creep across floor to floor and floor to wall transitions. The sightline insert is vulcanised neoprene or EPDM, and the joint is rated for heavy duty load and frequent traffic.

Finish selection by ISO 9223 corrosivity category

Categories follow ISO 9223. Where a facade warranty names a finish, that warranty governs, send us the clause and we will supply to it rather than to the category default.
Drainage and access cover load classes, EN 124 / EN 1433
The most common finishing failure on a Saudi project is a grate or cover specified for the wrong traffic. Class is set by where the unit sits, not by what it costs, a pedestrian-rated grate in a service yard deforms on its first delivery lorry.| Class | Test load | Where it belongs |

Classes follow EN 124 for access covers and EN 1433 for linear drainage. Where a channel crosses from a footway into a vehicle route, the higher class governs the whole run, do not step the class down mid-channel.

Environment & finish
Corrosion strategy, by site condition
The Kingdom is not one environment. The finish that lasts twenty years in Riyadh will fail inside a warranty period on the Gulf coast.
Inland and dry desert
Class 3 coated self-drilling screws and hot-dip galvanized carbon steel bolting perform well inland. UV degradation of the sealing washer is the practical service limit, EPDM bonded washers are specified over cheaper alternatives for that reason.
Coastal and Red Sea developments
A4 / AISI 316 stainless to ISO 3506, or Class 4 coated fasteners, on anything exposed. Bi-metallic contact between a stainless fastener and an aluminium panel is isolated with a compatible washer to prevent galvanic attack at the fixing point.
